Simran is a Senior Tax Associate at Syon Tax. Her role involves providing UK tax advice to a range of owner-managed businesses, corporate groups and private clients, with a particular focus on corporate reorganisations, shareholder transactions, employee incentivisation arrangements and succession planning.
Since joining Syon Tax in January 2023, Simran has developed a strong technical foundation and continues to build her professional expertise. She has successfully completed both the ATT and CTA qualifications as part of the firm’s Graduate Trainee Programme.
Before moving into tax advisory, Simran graduated from De Montfort University with First-Class Honours in Biomedical Science. She went on to qualify as a phlebotomist and worked in the pathology field as a Medical Laboratory Assistant for nearly four years. She brings a careful, analytical and detail-focused approach to her work, together with a practical approach to problem-solving. Simran enjoys working collaboratively with clients and colleagues, with a focus on delivering practical advice that supports clients’ wider commercial objectives.
